Payment & Withdrawal Policy
1. Purpose
This Policy explains how Montrock handles deposits, withdrawals, refunds, rejected payments and payment verification.
2. Approved Funding Methods
Only payment methods approved by the Company may be used. The Company may change available methods by country, currency, client type, payment provider or risk level.
3. Account Ownership
As a general rule, funding should originate from an account or payment instrument held in the Client’s name. Corporate clients should use accounts owned by the corporate Client unless an approved exception exists. For each incoming payment the Company records the Client, the payer, the bank or provider, the country, the amount, the currency and the payment reference. Where the payer name differs from the Client’s registered name, the payment is flagged and is not credited automatically.
4. Third-Party Payments
Third-party deposits are not automatically accepted and are treated as REVIEW REQUIRED by default. The Company does not automatically process an incoming payment from an unrelated person or entity, and may return, reject or hold such funds pending verification. An exception may require identification of the payer, relationship to the Client, source of funds, purpose and Compliance approval.
5. Payment Agents and PSPs
Payments may be facilitated by approved banks, PSPs, acquirers or contractual payment agents. Where relevant, the payment screen or instructions identify the entity processing the payment and explain its role. Certain payment services may be facilitated by an authorised contractual payment agent or payment service provider acting on behalf of Montrock Ltd. The identity of the relevant payment entity will be displayed where applicable. A payment agent or payment service provider (including Domeliga Ltd, if engaged) facilitates payments only and is not an FSC-regulated investment dealer.
6. Deposit Timing
A deposit is not considered available merely because a payment instruction has been initiated. Funds may be credited only after cleared receipt, reconciliation and applicable compliance checks.
7. Withdrawals
Withdrawals are generally returned to a verified account in the Client’s name. The Company may request updated KYC, bank proof, source-of-funds evidence or transaction explanations before release.
8. Payment Screening
Payments are subject to sanctions, geographic, fraud, account-name, transaction-monitoring and other risk controls.
9. High-Value Payments
Higher-value or unusual payments may require enhanced review, including documentary source-of-funds/source-of-wealth evidence and senior Compliance approval.
10. Currency Conversion and Fees
Conversion and external bank/intermediary fees may apply. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the correct currency, beneficiary and payment reference are used.
11. Rejected or Returned Payments
Payments may be rejected or returned where details are incorrect, the payer is not verified, sanctions or AML concerns exist, the method is unsupported, or a provider declines the transfer.
12. Chargebacks and Reversals
Where card or other reversible methods are supported, the Company may restrict account activity while a chargeback or reversal is investigated and may recover amounts lawfully due.
13. No Cash
Unless specifically approved and legally permitted, the Company does not accept physical cash.
